Dr. Gardner is a caring and compassionate orthodontist who puts the comfort and concerns of his patients first. He is commited to excellence and continuing education. His warmth and sincerity attract patients of all ages. During initial consultation he spends extensive time with both teenagers and adults, being certain that all questions are answered and that the patient has a thorough understanding of what is involved in the recommended treatment.

Education has been an important aspect of Dr. Gardner's focus in life. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a DDS degree from Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska. During his two-year residency in Orthodontics at the university of the Pacific in San Francisco, his research was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and was presented to the California Society of Pediatric Dentists.

He has a global vision and is dedicated to reaching out to impoverished nations. This was demonstrated when he took 4 years to direct the dental clinic at the Good Sheperd Hospital in Zaire, Africa, 1991-94. During this time he was successful in establishing a one-year dental training program for Zairians, and he was responsible for writing various grants to fund the dental clinic.

His greatest joy in life has been, and always will be, his family. He has been happily married for many years and raised two sons of whom he is very proud. One son completed a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a second degree in Informational Systems. He currently works for the Colorado Department of Transportation. His second son is an F-15 fighter pilot stationed at Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina. In January of 2007 he returned from a tour of duty in Iraq, where he was at the tactical command center north of Baghdad participating as an air liaison officer. In the fall of 2007 he will be stationed in Alaska and will continue flying the F-15
