Our office staff is always available to help you with your insurance benefits, if you have insurance that will be covering any portion of your orthodontic treatment. We accept most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We are committed to assisting you in receiving the full benefits to which you are entitled from your insurance plan.

Please have your insurance information available at the time you schedule your initial consultation with our office. We will confirm your benefits for you prior to your first visit and will know how we can help you receive those benefits most effectively before you come in.

Orthodontic dental coverage is not automatic with all dental insurance programs. Please check your policy to confirm orthodontics is a covered benefit. Please check for a “waiting period” on orthodontic coverage if your policy has been in effect for less than 2 years.

Insurance companies do not prepay orthodontic benefits but rather pay them equally over the course of treatment. If for any reason, you lose your benefits while in treatment, there is no guarantee the insurance company will pay the full pre-authorized benefit. In these cases, the remaining balance will become your responsibility.

Unfortunately, if you are involved in a dispute with your insurance company over orthodontic benefits, we are legally unable to make demands or negotiate any settlement for you. It will be your responsibility to settle disputes concerning your policy.
